Guatemala: paint it, then travel there this summer
This painting was created by the amazing Susan Grandchamp (artist & instructor at our studio) and originally it was created as a fundraiser for Mothers Global Village – a non profit group that encourages business development through micro-loans and business coaching among women in developing countries.
I (Susie), co-owner with my husband Tim, had the incredible privilege of traveling to Guatemala last summer with Mothers Global Village. I am going again this summer in June and MGV is facilitating a couple of different teams – so, if you are interested in joining me and/or learning more about the work of Mothers Global Village – send me an email, because teams are forming and we’d love to have you if you’re interested! The dates will likely be June 15th-22nd and the cost will be around $1500-2000.
We will be staying on the most amazing and beautiful coffee plantation and all the meals are home cooked! While we are there we will be involved in learning and supporting the work of Mothers Global Village in a community called Quixaya.
Whether you want to travel to Guatemala or not, join us this upcoming Tuesday for the creative, colorful and fun to paint class of this unique painting simply called “Guatemala.”
Hope to see you there!
