spring break & paint

Last week my 13 year old niece from Philly came out to visit me. It is an extremely busy time of year for me but when your teenage niece is still picking you as her spring break vacation destination you figure out how to clear the schedule. We went to the Aquarium and Lola’s and the Broadmoor. One of the highlights of our time together was painting one night at the studio. Lola painted mermaids and I painted a few words on a canvas and we laughed and enjoyed the process of splashing around colors on canvas together. Here is a picture of her and I together.
